A good reference letter lets potential employers see how someone will fit their needs. Employment reference letters talk about a candidate’s work history.
All information, methods, data, diagrams and maps, whether obtained or based on the work of others, must be acknowledged using one of the referencing styles recommended for engineering. To learn more, see Academic integrity or the Citing and referencing Library guide.
Appendices contain material that is too detailed to include in the main report, such as long mathematical derivations or calculations, detailed technical drawings, or tables of raw data. The content should be summarised and referred to at the appropriate point in the the body of the report. The conventions for appendices are as follows:
