An Official Academic Transcript is a document produced and certified by your prior institution that provides a complete and unaltered list of all the study you have completed with them.
The following information is common to official academic transcripts:

  • your program/s of study
  • the courses you have undertaken each trimester
  • all majors, minors or specialisations you have completed
  • the grades achieved for each course
  • your grade point average (GPA) for each trimester
  • the cumulative GPA for your overall Griffith studies
  • the date your award was conferred when you have graduated.

This document is printed on official Griffith University transcript paper. A digital version is also available via My eQuals.

Your official academic record, also called your ‘academic transcript’, is an official legal record of all the courses you have completed at UQ and the grades that you achieved. Both current UQ students and past graduates can order an academic transcript.

Your academic transcript is an important document as it is a record of your entire academic history a t the University of Canberra. It details all of your completed units and the grade attained as well as:

  • your full name
  • your student identification number
  • course completion date
  • course conferral date
  • course name
  • each year of study
  • unit code and title
  • credit points attained for each unit
  • grade for each unit of study
  • majors awarded under a course of study
  • block credit (if applicable)
  • prizes awarded
  • discontinuation date/s (if applicable)
  • course grade point average (GPA)

What is a Statement of Academic Record?

  • Full name
  • Student ID
  • Name of your degree or award course/s
  • All of your units with grades (if available)
  • Your majors, minors, programs and specialisations (if applicable)
  • The year you commenced your course/s
  • The date of your completion or graduation/s, where available

Before you order, please check My Results and result release dates – official transcripts only display results that have been officially released at the time of ordering.
Vocational education students who have completed modules towards their accredited course but who have not completed their award can also request a Statement of Attainment.

  • If this transcript is in support of your baccalaureate degree granting institution, it must indicate the award of the baccalaureate degree (or its foreign equivalent).
  • If this transcript is in support of an advanced degree program that you have completed at the same or another institution, it must indicate the award of that degree.
  • If this transcript is in support of work taken in a non-degree program, it will contain all coursework taken.

A final official transcript is only required if you have been offered admission and have accepted that offer. Specific instructions will be sent to incoming students in May.

Academic Records display all the courses you have been enrolled in, the grades you have received and, where applicable, your eligibility to graduate with Massey University qualifications or your conferred Massey University qualifications. Academic Records are issued without alteration or erasure and so will include all pass and fail grades, any courses you may have withdrawn from without academic penalty (WD grades) and any courses not completed (DNC grades). For more information about withdrawal conditions refer to changing study.
If you are waiting for an application for credit to be processed or you have applied for a reconsideration of grade or a scholarship that will affect your record, please do not apply for an Academic Record until your application has been resolved. This will prevent the unnecessary expense of a second application for an updated transcript.
